Venue Healthcare Champion Training

- Understand regulators, regulations, and their impact on meetings and events in hotels and venues.
- Explore healthcare meeting types and determine the best fit for your venue.
- Apply simple methodologies to align your processes with sector needs.
- Gain confidence in managing compliant to code meetings.
- Adapt how you present your venue to show readiness for healthcare meetings.
On completion learners will be certified as a Venue Healthcare Champion by Healthcare Venues for 12-months;- a re-certification to continue your status will be needed after 12-months.
Course Content – (to be completed online prior to Face-to-Face attendance) – 30 minutes
Module 1: The Basics of the Healthcare Sector
- Identify stakeholders within the ‘healthcare sector’
- Learn the basics of codes of practice and their impact on meetings.
- Understand why meeting solutions need to align with healthcare business needs.
Module 2: Meeting Types for the Healthcare Sector
- Understand common healthcare meeting types for improving efficiency and build stronger client relationships.
Module 3: Applying the Code and Company Policies to Healthcare Meetings
- Simplify healthcare and life sciences codes of practice, learn how they apply to venue meeting solutions, and boost confidence through knowledge.

The JW Marriott Hotel Berlin is a large-scale, conference-focused luxury hotel
in Berlin’s diplomatic quarter near Tiergarten and Potsdamer Platz.
The property features 505 guestrooms, 19 meeting and event rooms, and over
5,300 sqm of flexible event space, making it particularly well suited to
international conferences, healthcare meetings, corporate training and
association events. Its largest venue, the Grand Ballroom, can accommodate
up to 2,325 delegates in theatre style, positioning the hotel among the largest
conference hotels in Berlin.

The nearest U-Bahn (metro) station to JW Marriott Hotel Berlin is Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park (U2 line). It’s roughly a 7–10 minute walk from the hotel. The other nearby major station is Potsdamer Platz (U2, S-Bahn and regional trains), about a 12–15 minute walk away.
For attendees driving there is on-site parking, valet parking, and EV charging available.
