Well the answer can be seen in the recent events in France with the death of 1 man and 4 others left seriously ill after participating in a clinical trial.

Anyone involved in Clinical Trial events knows well their importance, as each Doctor is trained on how to handle (the trial protocol) the patients under their care as part of the trial.

There will no doubt be plenty of questions to answer over the coming months, what we can consider at this time is the fact that meetings matter, this tragedy highlights this in ways ROI, feedback questionnaires and happy delegates cannot.
